Short characteristics of the site: The Cheb and Sokolovo basins and volcanics of the Doupovské hory Mts. A dyke of porphyric trachytoid with feldspar phenocrysts which was uncovered by selective erosion from surrounding olivinic analcimites.This trachytoid rock forms a distinct residual monadnock in the relief.
